A key component of our vision is a commitment to building sustainably and incorporating the use of energy efficient technologies. The development will incorporate eco-friendly building materials, solar panels, greywater flushing systems, green terraces, along with other green solutions to assist in reducing the carbon footprint of the building.
Small-scale retail expansion
This proposal aims to revitalize this stretch of Lake Shore Boulevard West by replacing the existing auto shop with two small-scale ground-level retail stores with residential units above. The proposed development will help preserve the character and enhance the vibrancy of this local business strip, while adhering to the spirit of the City’s bylaws.
Accessible new housing
Located along the 501 Queen Streetcar line, and within only a 5-minute drive to the Long Branch GO Station, 3353 Lake Shore will provide existing Long Branch residents, as well as future residents, a new and convenient housing option in the neighbourhood.
Enhancing the
pedestrian experience
Neighbourhood walkability and creating a safe and welcoming pedestrian environment is very important to us. With 3353 Lake Shore, we are proposing to increase the width of the sidewalk and eliminate many of the existing curb cuts in front of our building.
